Around Utah Lake

There are, of course, two directions to every loop, so there are two ways to ride this one.

Clockwise

From I-15 take the Santaquin exit (exit 248) and go West on U.S. 6 through Santaquin, past Genola, and through Goshen. At Elberta, turn North onto state route 68. This will take you the length of Utah Lake, until it intersects state route 73. Take UT 73 East (right) unti you reach Lehi and I-15.

Counter-clockwise

From I-15, take the Lehi/Hwy 73 exit (exit 282) and go West (towards the Lehi Roller Mills) on state route 73, which is also Lehi's Main Street. A ways out of town, turn left onto state route 68, which will take you the length of Utah Lake until you reach Elberta and U.S. 6. Turn left on U.S. 6 and take it through Goshen, past Genola, and through Santaquin to I-15.

Delta Option

From either direction you can take a side trip out to Delta, Utah. Take U.S. 6 from Elberta West through Eureka and Lyndyl to Delta. Have breakfast or lunch at the Rancher Cafe. Have a look at an enourmous coal-fired powerplant that burns a million pounds of coal an hour with no visible emissions.

You can also reach Delta more directly by taking state route 132 from I-15 at exit 225.
